Meet Our Comfort Keepers®

Our team is uniquely qualified and ready to help

Every member of our team is professional and well trained. We conduct a thorough screening and interviewing process to identify the best home care providers and only those who pass this process go on to complete training to deliver our special brand of home care and become Comfort Keepers®. What truly sets our people apart, though, is their natural gift for caring for others.

All Comfort Keepers pass extensive background checks and complete continuing education. They are bonded, insured and covered by workers' compensation insurance to protect our clients and their families.

Jennifer Bauernfeind

Owner

Jennifer Bauernfeind has been a business owner for over 18 years and has been involved with her community for many years, helping those around her and impacting their lives in meaningful ways. Jennifer has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Jennifer has lived in the Minneapolis Metro area for her entire life and has spent her time volunteering with the local school’s musical theater program and swim teams. In addition to her time at schools, she served on a board for a non-profit in Madagascar that taught women how to make crafts and sell them to earn an income for their family. She enjoys building relationships and giving back, which is why she is a great addition to the Comfort Keepers® family.

Jennifer is happy and proud to provide care seniors truly depend on in the Metro Minneapolis communities.

Marie Cullen

General Manager

I have over 20 years of experience in the retail and customer service industry, but when Jennifer, our owner, approached me about joining her on this mission, I was all in! My passion for working with the senior population was influenced when my own parents became too ill to care for themselves.  They had been suffering from Dementia and COPD and had to rely on the help of others to care for their daily needs.  My mindset changed when they both passed away at an early age and only 6 months apart.  It was this experience that made me realize how short life can be and my decision to make a career change was apparent.  I enjoy spending time with my family and love the Minnesota outdoors.  I’m honored to be a part of this reputable and rapidly growing company that believes in providing senior community with the opportunity to live happy, fulfilling, independent lives.
